Our AchievementsWe number some of Australia's largest companies as our customers. The wealth of experience gained as a provider to these companies, and also to the Federal Government through the Sydney Airport Authority and the Defence Department, places us on a high professional standing. Papuan Oil Search (Sydney)Consultant/Design project to form a communication stream between the Port Moresby office and Kubut drilling area. This project was to develop a cost effective solution in satellite communications in a joint venture from multiple drilling companies in the area. Hughes Trueman Ludlow (Sydney)Installation of Novell networking system in the St Leonards office. This Network was designed to incorporate an environment of Autocad stations for all aspects of design, accounting and administration. This system was to use Category 5 UTP cabling and remote communications to seven other offices throughout NSW and Queensland. Innovations (Frenchs Forest)Installation and setup of a 250 user Novell networking system with fibre optic backbone and Category 5 cabling. This design was to control data flow between two buildings and Hub Management software to keep network utilisation high. Kingsford Smith Airport (Mascot)During 1993-94 Robert involved in the Airport's network upgrade. This included training in Houston, Texas, covering applications being used on the LAN and its interaction within the global WAN. Also, through this contract he received Unix and mainframe training. Syntex Australia (Sydney)Syntex Australia is a medium sized Pharmaceutical Company that required consultancy to identify the advantages/disadvantages of replacing their existing Mini-computer environment compared to the advantagesldisadvantages of a LAN environment. The final system was a Novell network with 47 PC's throughout three floors within the Sydney CBD. The system incorporated the latest technology in UTP and E-Mail for remote communications to the distribution centres. Western Suburbs Leagues Club (Unanderra)This design/installation involved the redesigning of the existing Network to improve its unreliable operation. The Network was redesigned on two fronts, the hardware platform and then the software applications. The cabling structure was also reinstalled to solve existing problems. The present network utilisation has increased by 68%. Shellharbour Workers Club (Shellharbour)Installation of a Novell network in replacement of their existing LANTASTIC network. The Web-Men has been involved in the design of the new network and front end software applications to increase the Clubs administration performance. Leussink Engineering (Unanderra)Design and installation of Industrial computers to the large PLC's used in the day to day factory tasks. This network also incorporated the use of a Novell network in the administration and management of the factory in the front office. Mobile Innovations (Frenchs Forest)Consultancy and design of a Unix networking platform to integrate with the existing Novell network to run the in-house database and link with Vodafone's service provider software in the complex mobile telephone market. |
